Primary Schools Table Quiz:
The final of the Dineen Refractories, Primary Schools Table Quiz took place on Wednesday last 28th February. Each of the teams had progressed through from 2 semi-finals with 20 teams making the final. After 8 rounds of questions which included a Picture Round and a Ding-Bat round it was St Fiacc’s NS Graiguecullen who were victorious. They finished just ahead of Scoil Diarmada Castledermot with 3 teams sharing 3rd position; Mooneenroe NS with two teams and Scoil Mhichíl Naofa, Athy. Many thanks to each of the teachers and parents who prepared the students for the quiz. Also a huge thank you to Pauline and her team who ensured the smooth running of all 3 rounds of the quiz. Finally, a special mention to Dineen Refractories in Wolfhill for their continued support of the event.
