National Bronze for Katie

Katie Baldwin claimed a bronze medal at Day 1 of the National Juvenile Indoor Track and Field Championships held in Athlone. Katie was competing in the Girls U19 Triple Jump where her best jump of 9.94 was good enough to take 3rd place.  

Holly Byrne was unlucky in the Girls U19 Shot Putt when she finished just outside the medals in 4th, with a best throw of 8.98m, while James Kehoe was 5th in the Boys U.18 Shot Putt with a 12.99m throw.
